Here's the latest version of my Desktop (01/20/09). Everything else is the same as mentioned previously, but as you can see I've moved the taskbar up to the top, used a different deviantART glass theme, Glass Glow, and added a new program at the bottom of the screen that gives it a bit of OS-X flavor.Program Launch is still there but its in hidden state.
ToolBox v2.78 by Kostas Symeonidis, available at cylog.org, is very customizable and portable (something you know I love) here I have it set for 48 x 48 pixel icons and a transparent background. I could have gone with a dimensional-effect border and blurred background (which is available in the settings) to fit with the glass theme, but I preferred a totally transparent box for that OS-X feel. I keep Winamp in windowshade mode below which helps give it a base. Since I use Winamp alot I keep it on the desktop at all times.
You can have more than one toolbox on your desktop each with different icons and settings. You can set the layout of each like a table by creating rows and columns and choose whether to have text labels and screen tips or nothing at all. It's a great addition to my desktop repertoire.
